Though our family has been making heirloom-quality furniture since 1927, honing a traditional hand-carving technique that is a current nominee for the UNESCO World Intangible Heritage List, there has been nothing in our history quite like our new brand, Zanat. The work leading up to its launch has included so much innovation and new thinking that we feel like a brand new startup. In many ways, Zanat continues a tradition of modern design & production principles that first gained media attention and industry awards for us when we launched Manulution in 2011, but our goals with the new brand go even further in terms of how we run our business (link to Universal Sustainability), how we design our products (link to Creations), and how we plan to market them (link to launch news?).
