Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certification

We are pleased to announce that Zanat has formally completed the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification, which enable us to place the FSC mark on our products.

Zanat’s sustainability commitments and practices are substantially wider in scope and deeper than what is required for the FSC certification and the certification was consequently a relatively easy process for us and did not require any substantial changes in our policies and business conduct. Nevertheless, FSC certification is a proof to us and our clients that we are able to meet the criteria for one of the most widely recognized certificates for products made of forest wood. Our commitments and actions will not stop with this certification and we will continue working to advance our universal sustainability agenda grounded within three main principles: protect, develop and promote. For more information on the concept of universal sustainability, our commitments and policies, please visit the Universal Sustainability section of Zanat’s website: Universal Sustainability – ZANAT

The Forest Stewardship Council is an international non-profit, multistakeholder organization established in 1993 that promotes responsible management of the world’s forests. It is an example of a market-based certification program used as a transnational environmental policy.
